It's a tank. Fat tires and like someone else said on here --- it can withstand bumps better than thinner wheels. However, like all tires, try to bring a small inner-tube for longer trips. I plan to go from Brooklyn to Manhattan in this thing. I just need to become more familiar with the roads before I do. Rapid response from customer service. Update: it can go up to 21 mph --yess!

Let me tell you!! This Scooter is the Best Bang for your $$$ I'm 225 lbs this product is Very Strong, Sturdy and extremely fast. The battery life is extremely good!! The assembly was very Simple, I Highly recommend this Scooter!! This is Definitely Not a Toy!! I wouldn't recommend for children under 13 yrs...I would definitely buy again.
